The Too Faced Peaches and Cream collection was one that I was most excited for once I heard the news on it. I love the Sweet Peach collection that came out last year (if you haven't smelled the eyeshadow palette, I'd highly recommend going to your local Sephora for the yummy peach scent), so I knew I would adore this collection as well. I immediately gravitated towards the Peach Perfect Comfort Matte Foundation - a foundation that's matte and comfortable? Definitely count me in!
The Too Faced Peach Perfect Comfort Matte Foundation* (CAD $45) is said to give medium coverage to the skin while being transfer resistant. The Comfort Matte formula is photo friendly, smooth, flawless, and comfortable on the skin. It provides 14-hours of wear, is oil-free, oil controlling, and shine free.
This product is formulated without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates.
The Peach Perfect Foundation comes in a plastic tube with a sturdy pump to dispense the product. The pump works extremely well at controlling how much foundation comes out - I'm a huge fan of foundations with these sorts of pumps because it makes the application so much neater. I'm also obsessed with the pink, white and gold colour scheme of the package - it's so aesthetically-pleasing!
This foundation has 1.6 fl. oz. of product, which is 0.6 fl. oz. more than the typical foundations found at Sephora.
The Peach Perfect Foundation is seriously the most comfortable matte foundation I have ever tried. The formula does not cling onto or emphasize dry patches on my skin like most matte foundations do. The reason why I found this foundation so amazing is that it helps mattify my face while still giving it a bit of radiance, making the skin look much more natural and healthy.
I've worn this foundation for over 12 hours at a time, and I must say, it really does help keep my oils at bay. When I use a more natural to dewy foundation, I typically see my t-zone starting to get oily within three to four hours. However, with this foundation, I notice the oils start to peak through after six to seven hours. By the end of a long day with zero touch-ups, my t-zone is only a tad bit shiny, and there is zero creasing and fading of my foundation.
The Too Faced Peach Perfect Foundation is one that I would recommend to my combo to oily gals out there looking for a softly mattifying foundation that still brings life to the face. I definitely think this foundation is worth its price, especially for the amount you are getting in the extremely well-designed and high-quality tube. Not to mention how enjoyable it is to apply this onto the face because it just smells so darn good!
