Ya'll know how much I love to glow in the summer, so here's another post dedicated to glowing skin! Ever since I discovered highlighters in the makeup world, I've been on the hunt for that one highlighter that'll make my skin look wet. I have never found one that makes my skin glow like I've been swimming in the ocean. This is until I tried the new Pixi Beauty Glow-y Gossamer Duos!
Don't we all just love a hydrated and wet-looking glossy lip for the summer? I'm all about rocking lip glosses during the hot weather and this summer is no different. Glosses just feel so refreshing and light on the lips compared to a lipstick or liquid lip, which make them so perfect for those hot summer days. I'll be talking about my top five glosses that I've been loving for the past few months and why they're so addicting!
Fun in the sun is the epitome of summer, and I'm currently spending as much time as possible in the sun. Tanned skin and a glowy complexion are my two must-haves for this summer, and thanks to the Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops in the shade Blossom, I can look dewy all day and night!
Just how intense are these liquid highlighters? Keep reading to find out!
The Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer Lipgloss in the shade Sugar Sugar is probably one of the most talked about glosses on the beauty market. I first discovered this shade because of Jaclyn Hill, who has continuously raved about Sugar Sugar for years. After I picked it up from Sephora, I too could not and would not use any other nude gloss for almost half a year because it's just that amazing!
Now, Marc Jacobs has released a new product called the Enamored Hydrating Lip Gloss Stick and this line of lipgloss also has the shade Sugar Sugar! I was immediately intrigued to see how the two would compare to each other in terms of longevity, shade, and formula, so of course, I grabbed it in-stores before it could sell out. If you're as curious as I was about how these two compare, just keep reading to find out!
Even though the heat may be unbearable and causing your skin to be sweaty and oily this season, it's still imperative to keep yourself and your skin hydrated. I have combination-oily skin and in the summer, it gets extremely oily. Did you know that oily skin actually means that the skin is dehydrated? The oils are then produced excessively to compensate for the lack of moisture.
Finding the right skincare products for this time of the year has been a roller coaster ride. I've tried so many different products, including Vichy's Aqualia Thermal Rehydrating Serum and the Aqualia Thermal Rehydrating Water Gel. Want to know my thoughts on these two and how they worked for my skin? Then just keep reading!
