Welcome to the third (and last) part of my collective Sephora haul (which I made all throughout November... better late than never, right?). If you haven't seen my first two hauls, you can find them here and here!
This post will be all about the skincare products I picked up. Most are back-ups for the products I'm currently using, but there are a few that are brand new to me and my skin.
ORIGINS ZERO OIL PORE PURIFYING TONER (CAD $30)
This toner was purchased for my boyfriend who has an extremely oily t-zone and large pores. He had just finished using the Origins United State Balancing Tonic toner and wanted a stronger toner to control his oils, so we decided to give this one a try. After using this toner for one month, he's noticed a huge difference in his oil production throughout the day. What's more amazing is his pores have become noticeably smaller! A huge props to Origins for creating a fantastic toner for those with oily skin!
BIOTHERM BIOSOURCE 24 H HYDRATING & TONIFYING TONER (CAD $25)
I picked up this toner for me to use in the mornings before I apply my moisturizer. Since it's the winter months in Canada, I needed a moisturizing toner to ensure my skin doesn't flake during the day when I have makeup on. I've always heard great things about Biotherm products, so I decided to give this toner a whirl since it was so budget-friendly. I've been using this for a month now, and I must say, I love it! It does a super job at balancing out my skin - my face feels smooth, clean, and moisturized without being oily or filmy.
FIRST AID BEAUTY ULTRA REPAIR HYDRA-FIRM SLEEPING CREAM (CAD $47)
This was a repeat purchase for me. Both my boyfriend and I use this night cream religiously as both of us need the extra hydration at night since we have the heat up so high in our house. This night cream is perfect for those who like the feeling of very heavy moisturizing creams on their face when they sleep. It definitely leaves you looking a little like a greasy chicken, BUT in the morning after you wash your face, you'll have such smooth, plump, and hydrated skin. My makeup always goes on soooooo smoothly after I apply this cream the night before.
ORIGINS GINZING ENERGY-BOOSTING GEL MOISTURIZER (CAD $36)
I've raved about this moisturizer a million times on all my social medias, but in case you don't follow me on those platforms, this moisturizer is freaking amazing for those with combination skin, like myself. I like to use this in the mornings before I apply my makeup. I apply the majority of this to my cheeks (which is the drier areas of my face), then massage whatever is left onto my t-zone (my oilier area). It leaves my face feeling smooth and moisturized without being heavy or oily. This will probably be my morning moisturizer for the rest of my life!
ROGER & GALLET AURA MIRIBILIS LEGENDARY CREAM (CAD $55)
This cream as well as this brand is completely new to me. I stumbled upon this product while browsing Sephora, so I decided to try it out since the name sounds so sick - who doesn't want to apply a legendary cream to their face? I've been using this cream on nights when I decide to apply a sleeping mask on afterwards. This cream is lighter and fluffier than the FAB Sleeping Cream, so applying any sleeping packs on afterwards is much more effective since the mask can penetrate the layers of skincare when compared to it being applied on top of heavier creams. This night cream definitely provides my skin with enough moisture without making my skin feel greasy. However, like I've mentioned before, it's crucial for me to apply a sleeping mask on afterwards or else I'll wake up with my skin feeling dry and dehydrated during these dry winter months.
And that's a wrap on my massive Sephora haul (which I made in November, and it is now January...). If you're interested in an in-depth review on any of the products I've mentioned in this post, feel free to let me know down in the comments!
