I've heard so many amazing things about Pixi Beauty for the past year and have been dying to try out their products, so you can imagine the surprise and excitement I felt when I saw this box of goodies at my front door from Pixi. I'm so obsessed with their simple green packaging, and I was so ecstatic to be given the chance to try out some of their eye products, especially their colourful eye liners!
Black Lacquer Lash Primer* (CAD $20)
I've never tried using a lash primer before, so I was very curious to see how this would improve my mascara's wear. First of all, these make my lashes so dark and black, which I am all about since the darkness gives them the effect of looking more voluminous and luscious.
This primer also really helps separate my lashes, prepping them for mascara application. I will say that you must use this primer with a light hand because the first time I used it, I really went in with this and it ended up getting too heavy and weighed down my lashes.
Large Lash Mascara* (CAD $22)
I'm so obsessed with the wand of this mascara because it really gets in, separates and gives my lashes a blast of volume. I would consider this mascara to be on the more natural side since it doesn't do too much in terms of length - it makes them long enough to help you look more awake, but if you're looking for that falsies effect, this mascara isn't the one.
The formula of this mascara is absolutely amazing despite it not being waterproof. I'm super picky with my mascaras, and they HAVE to be waterproof since I tend to get very watery eyes throughout the day. The Large Lash mascara battles against my watery eyes like a champ without the slightest smudge or flake throughout the day. A huge bonus is that it holds the curl of my lashes beautifully. At the end of the day, my lashes remain voluminous and still have a slight curl to them which is very impressive since I'm usually left with stick straight lashes at the end of a long day.
Eye Bright Liner* (CAD $16)
I've always struggled with finding a good skin-toned liner that will last on my waterline through all the eye-watering that occurs throughout the day, and FINALLY I have found my holy grail thanks to Pixi! This liner is super creamy, so there is zero irritation when applying this to my waterline. It lasts for a good six hours before I begin to notice any signs of fading, which is the best result I've had with all the liners I've ever tried.
Eye Define Waterline* (USD $14)
Another amazing and long-lasting liner that doesn't budge throughout the day, and this one is as black as can be, which is 100% up my alley when I'm looking for a good black pencil liner. This glides on my lash line so effortlessly and stays on all day without smudging on my under eyes. I mean, what more can a gal ask for in a liner?!
Endless Silky Eye Pen (CAD $16)
Holy guacamole, where do I begin with these AMAZING liners? There is a huge range of shades, and every shade that I have tried is creamy, SO pigmented, and does. not. smudge. When compared to other colour liners I've tried, these take the cake - one to two glides on the waterline is more than enough to show intense colour that lasts all day long. These pens are waterproof and fading is very minimal, even after a 10-hour wear.
I can't say enough good things about these Pixi eye products! I am so impressed with every single one of these products, and I cannot wait to try more Pixi pretties!
