I quickly picked up the Tarte Aquacealer Concealer (USD $26, now $13) after I fell in love with their Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation. I've always been intrigued with serum/water-based products because of the lightweight and moisturizing properties they claim to have. However, with this product, I was curious to see if it retains the average concealing properties while being lightweight. Is this concealer that does it all? Keep reading to find out!

The Tarte Aquacealer claims to "a lightweight, 12-hour concealing serum with skin-soothing benefits that provides targeted, medium, buildable coverage." This concealer is said to be moisturizing and formulated with antioxidant-rich algae to help smooth and illuminate the skin.
This product is vegan friendly, dermatologist tested, and formulated without parabens and phthalates.
The Tarte Aquacealer comes in a short and chubby frosted bottle. The lid has the same gold to purple gradient design as the Rainforest of the Sea foundation, and it's attached to a thick and short wand with a large doe-foot applicator.
The Tarte Aquacealer has a light moisturizing consistency, perfect for a no-makeup makeup day. When I'm lazy or in a rush, I throw this concealer on, set it with some banana powder, and run out the door. It really brightens my undereyes (even when I have super dark circles from all-nighters), and makes them look slightly plumper which I'm guessing is because of the concealer's moisturizing properties. This product is great for those who have really dry undereyes because it doesn't cling onto dry patches. At the end of the day, my undereyes feel less dry, which is so crazy to me that this concealer can also act as an undereye moisturizer.
However, this concealer isn't great for covering blemishes. Since it's so light coverage, it doesn't really help conceal any redness. Another thing is that because it's so moisturizing, it tends to break up and emphasize the skin on the blemish.
I would definitely recommend this concealer to those looking to cover up those dark circles with a natural and dewy product, especially since it's 50% off right now. Add the Sephora VIB discount? I'd grab two if I were you!
